What Is The Best Equipment For Working At Height?

Reading time: 2 minutes

Working at great heights can be a dangerous task and requires the right equipment to ensure the safety of the workers. With so many options available, it can be hard to know what the best equipment is when working at heights.

At Gable Fall Safe we offer all the equipment you could need to ensure you and your workers are safe when working at heights:

Self-retracting lanyards (SRLs): They are required to secure a worker to an anchor point while operating at height. While not in use, they automatically retract the rope and lock in place in the event of a fall. We recommend looking for an SRL with a shock absorber to decrease the impact of a fall.

Weighted anchors: Weighted anchors are used to secure a rope or lanyard’s end to a solid surface. They provide workers with a safe and robust attachment point and can be employed in a range of working conditions.

Harnesses: A full-body harness is a must-have piece of safety equipment for anyone who works at heights. It supports the full body and can be customised to m

eet the specific worker. Look for a harness with adjustable straps and a secure lanyard or rope attachment point.

Connectors: Connectors connect a harness to a lanyard or rope, and they come in a variety of forms and sizes and are intended to meet different working requirements.
